The scenic coastline of Southwestern Nova Scotia stretches along Digby County's coastline, on the Bay of Fundy, around Yarmouth County's coastline and ends with the scenic coastline of Shelburne County on the Atlantic Ocean. This scenic coastline has many sandy and pebbly beaches, as well as sections of rocky coastline and towering cliffs.
Many of the beaches are accessible and some are parks cared for by the providence of Nova Scotia. From some of the higher scenic coastline spots you can look out over the Bay of Fundy and Atlantic Ocean and you may be fortunate to see seals and porpoise swimming. You can also venture out on any of the many whale-watching tours that are available in Southwestern Nova Scotia.
Traveling and vacationing in this end of Nova Scotia will not disappoint you. If you get tired of walking the scenic coastline you can venture into any of the many towns and villages where you'll find plenty of thing to see and do. And it's a great place to visit any time of year.
